About the book: Backstage Behind The Curtain Book By Kent H. Theesen – As told by John Huthmacher What’s your brush with greatness? Nearly everyone has an answer to the question. Hastings native Kent Theesen has made it his mission to connect with greatness many times over. That journey resulted in a book published in September, 2018 titled “Backstage: Behind the Curtain.” Theesen’s book is a fascinating collection of tales recounting numerous (over 50) encounters with famous people ranging from U.S. presidents to rock stars, sports figures, actors and many more. These encounters occurred while working as a disc jockey, actor, hospitality specialist, artist and photographer in Nebraska, Utah, California, and Spain.
