The Rise, Fall, and Preservation of the Spade Ranch
Join us Thursday, August 20 at 5:30 p.m. at the Knight Museum & Sandhills Center for the final installment of our three-part Spade Ranch Summer Series.
Steve Cleveland will present a 30-minute program, “The Rise, Fall, and Preservation of the Spade Ranch,” exploring the growth of this influential Sandhills ranching operation, the changes that led to its decline, and the efforts to preserve its history and legacy for future generations.
Following the presentation, guests are invited to participate in a question-and-answer session and explore the Spade Ranch interpretive panel series currently on display at the museum.
This is the final program in our three-part summer series, but you do not need to have attended the previous programs to participate. Each presentation explores a different chapter of the Spade Ranch story.
